Merry Christmas from Anchor Brewing, 2011
December 5th, 2011 | Categories: Ruckoff | by jason

The good folks at Anchor Brewing want to wish us all a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from their home in San Fran to ours. I’m not much of the expert connoisseur type and my go-to is often times Bud Heavy, aka poolwater (insert zero shame) — but this is really good stuff, and for the last couple weeks I’ve been busy perfecting my appreciation. It’s not available everywhere, but a good local liquor store is sure to carry it. If you like this kind of thing, give it a shot.

One of my favs as well. If you like Anchor Steam, you should take one of their brewery tours. It’s free, it’s quick, and there is plenty of beers to taste at the end of it. Good livin’ indeed.

Went out to a restaurant I don’t frequent too often last night. They had Anchor’s winter beer on hand and it is a very good one.

Anchor also has a distillery that makes some fine gins and whiskeys. Not cheap, but quality never is.
